If you know you have a Knotweed problem or are worried you might be tackling knotweed, then you’ve come to the right place. We are a Japanese Knotweed and Invasive Species Specialist based in South Wales.
With over 14 years’ experience in treating and advising clients on Invasive Species we know what we are doing and can help you to sort this problem. We would like you to get in touch so we can offer you expert support in controlling the full range of non-native invasive species. Whether you are trying to buy or sell a property with Knotweed growth or just want to control the plant then give us a call and let us help you to clear those problem weeds.
Knotweed Support – Invasive Weed Specialists is based in Llanelli, and we work right across South Wales from Cardiff, through the valleys, Bridgend, Neath & Port Talbot, Swansea, Carmarthenshire and down to Pembrokeshire.
We took the decision that 2016 would be the year to set up our own consultancy, and although our business is still young we are far from novices in the sector, as our qualifications and experience demonstrate.
We follow the policy and procedures of the Property Care Association (PCA) which is the recognised trade body for Japanese Knotweed. Phil, has completed the PCA, Control & Eradication of Knotweed training and having passed the associated exam he is also Certified by the PCA as a Surveyor of Japanese Knotweed (CSJK). We have submitted our documentation to the PCA for assessment and expect hope to secure PCA accreditation by the end of the summer.
Knotweed Surveyor and Treatment Specialist
As a certified Knotweed removal contractor, I work closely with our clients to suggest the most appropriate approach to Knotweed control and treatment. I am NEBOSH qualified in Occupational Safety & Heath, so you can be assured that all of our work is carried out according to the relevant Health & Safety protocols.
In my former life, I spent over a decade working with a charity. The focus was on environmental improvement projects within diverse communities. As a result I really understand the importance of sustainability. With this in mind all of our work is completed, making every effort to avoid unnecessary impact to the natural native environment. The charity worked closely with communities to return derelict land to a more useful space, such as community gardens or play areas. My experience of weed control, Japanese Knotweed removal and negotiation between neighbours and boundaries has been well tested and developed over the years.
Business Development and Customer Care Manager
With a background in business, project management and customer care I take the lead in these areas. We pride ourselves on ensuring that you get the advice, support and service you need – when you need it. With Knotweed Support you are assured a personal, caring service to get you the right support and service at the right time. We understand that when you are in the process of buying or selling a property, timing can be everything. You will receive a reply to your message within 24 hours, but usually far more quickly. We’ll book to view a site and provide you with feedback as quickly as possible.
I’m regularly seen on site with Phil, as his trainee, as I learn more about what is involved in removing Knotweed and other invasive species. This way you can be assured that you are receiving the very best advice and support when contacting either of us.
Family is everything to us, we know if you’ve already set your heart on your perfect family home you need honest, timely advice so that you can make the right decision. With us, that advice is 100% assured.
On the flip side if you are selling your home for whatever reason, it can be devastating to hear that it doesn’t hold the value it deserves, because of a plant that happens to be growing in the garden. We always offer you a range of solutions to suit you and your needs and are happy to talk any prospective buyers, so that they can be reassured and understand the process too.
